ABOUT ME

The author is an attorney by training, specializing in a criminal defense for the past 30 years. He holds degrees in history, political science, biology and the law. He recently returned to the academic world and obtained a Masters of Arts degree in Early European History, writing his thesis on the history of thief takers and their 18th century underworld boss Jonathan Wild. He has also published articles for Renaissance Magazine on medieval policing and punishment.

Scott and the love of his life, Anne have lived in Oklahoma City since 1987.  They have two adult children, Andrew and Emily and two dogs.  As "empty nesters" who will never retire, they enjoy spending free time vacationing around the world, fishing, and most weekends at their ranch in southwest Oklahoma.
